Bowler

Bowler Motors, a distinguished name in the realm of high-performance off-road vehicles, traces its origins back to 1985 when Drew Bowler began manufacturing competitive safari and rally cars from his workshop in Derbyshire, England. The brand quickly gained acclaim for robust engineering and exceptional performance in challenging terrains, embodying a spirit of adventure and resilience. The early years were marked by the iconic Bowler Wildcat, a vehicle that captured the imagination of off-road enthusiasts with its debut in the mid-1990s. The Wildcat excelled in demanding environments and made notable appearances in grueling competitions like the Dakar Rally, solidifying Bowler's reputation for durability and high-speed capability in off-road racing. Today, Bowler has evolved under the stewardship of Jaguar Land Rover, which acquired the company in 2019. This partnership has infused Bowler with cutting-edge technology and resources, enhancing their lineup with models that leverage JLR’s advanced platforms. The recent development includes the Bowler Defender Challenge, a one-make rally series that showcases the latest Bowler conversions of the Land Rover Defender, emphasizing the brand's ongoing commitment to innovation and its strong heritage in rally sport.
