Caresto

Founded in 2004 by Leif Tufvesson, a former Volvo Concept Center employee and Koenigsegg developer, Caresto has carved a niche in the Swedish automotive landscape. Located in Ängelholm, this Swedish car company specializes in limited edition sports cars and hot rods, emphasizing first-class design and innovation in each unique vehicle. Tufvesson, known for his creativity and expertise in car restoration, first gained prominence through building distinctive hot rods, which have been featured at international car shows such as SEMA. Caresto's work includes a notable collaboration with Volvo, creating custom cars like a special edition Volvo C70 hardtop convertible, showcasing Swedish craftsmanship. Despite its relatively small scale, Caresto's focus on quality and limited production numbers—usually no more than ten of each model—highlights its exclusivity and dedication to perfection. The brand's journey reflects a commitment to merging traditional automotive craftsmanship with cutting-edge design, maintaining its unique position in the auto industry through continuous innovation and attention to detail. Today, Caresto remains a symbol of automotive excellence, attracting car enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
