Casalini

Casalini, an enduring emblem of Italian ingenuity in microcar manufacturing, was founded in 1939 by Giovanni Casalini. The company initially carved its niche in the automotive landscape with the production of motorized bicycles, setting the stage for its legacy in compact vehicle innovation. With its headquarters firmly rooted in Piacenza, Casalini epitomizes the blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The brand's journey into microcar territory began earnestly in the post-war era, primarily responding to Italy's growing need for affordable and efficient urban transportation. The Casalini Sulky, a three-wheeled vehicle introduced in the 1970s, marked the brand's significant pivot towards microcars. This model, originally equipped with a modest 50cc engine typically found in mopeds, symbolized practicality and freedom in urban mobility. Today, Casalini stands at the forefront of the microcar market, particularly noted for its advances in incorporating electric powertrains. Their latest offerings, such as the Casalini Kerry and M20, continue to reflect the brand's commitment to innovation and eco-friendly solutions. Despite the niche market, Casalini maintains a resilient presence in Europe, adapting to the evolving demands of modern drivers seeking compact, efficient, and environmentally conscious vehicles.
