The Changan CS35 is a subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Changan Automobile, first unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. Priced between 68,900 yuan to 86,900 yuan, the CS35 officially entered the market in October 2012. Originally known as the Chang’an S101 during its development stage, the name was changed to fit into Changan's new CS naming system for CUV and SUV products. Designed by Changan's design center in Turin, Italy, the CS35 marked the company's initial venture into creating a small CUV/SUV before the introduction of the CS15. In 2017, the CS35 received a facelift which included updated front and rear lamp inserts
