Morris Markin, along with a group of enthusiasts, established Checker Motors Corporation in Kalamazoo, Michigan. The first car introduced by Checker was the Model G1 - a modest sedan that became an instant hit due to its spacious interior and sturdy construction. However, it wasn't until the introduction of their second model, aptly named "Checker Model A," that they truly found success. Today marks something not only curious but also impressive about Checker: even though they're no longer producing their renowned vehicles commercially since closing production facilities over thirty years ago wish majestically started manufacturing battery-powered commercial delivery vans alongside equipping existing chargers converting them into electric power sources revolutionizing transportation once again.
