The Chevrolet Task Force, a light-duty and medium-duty truck series introduced in 1955, marked a significant update to Chevrolet's truck lineup following the 1947 Advance Design. Referred to as the Blue Chip in the GMC counterpart, the Task Force series featured a more modern design while maintaining the ruggedness and durability expected from Chevrolet trucks.
