The Z51 Performance Package elevated the base C7 Stingray with a dry-sump lubrication system, performance-tuned suspension, electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo brakes, and an upgraded cooling package. The package was available with both the seven-speed manual and eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmissions, and extracted additional output from the 6.2-liter LT1 V8 to reach 460 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. It positioned the Stingray as a genuine track-capable car without stepping up to the more focused Z06.
