The vehicle made its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show in collaboration between the two brands. Initially launched in left-hand drive configuration, the Lodgy is offered in both five and seven-seater models, featuring front-wheel drive. Production of the Lodgy takes place at a modern Renault facility situated in Tangier, Morocco. The Dacia Lodgy is built on the Dacia M0 platform, which it shares with other models like the Dacia Logan, Dacia Sandero, and Renault Symbol.
