De La Chapelle

De la Chapelle, a distinctive name in the automobile industry, traces its origins to the passion and craftsmanship of Xavier de la Chapelle, a scion of the Bugatti engineering legacy. Founded in the early 1970s, this French car manufacturer initially garnered attention with the launch of a Bugatti Type 55 replica, blending classic aesthetics with contemporary performance. This model not only paid homage to automotive history but also set the stage for the brand's reputation for exquisite, tailor-made vehicles. Over the years, De la Chapelle has expanded its repertoire beyond replicas, introducing unique models like the Roadster, which further cemented its status in the niche market of luxury custom automobiles. Today, De la Chapelle continues to thrive by focusing on bespoke cars that cater to individual tastes, each vehicle a testament to the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and elegance. While maintaining a relatively low production volume, the company leverages its historical roots and artisanal approach to carve out a respected and sustainable position in the modern automotive landscape. This strategy ensures that De la Chapelle remains synonymous with exclusivity and prestige in the realm of custom-built cars.
