The Fengon 580 is a mid-size crossover SUV manufactured by the Chinese automaker DFSK Motor, a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor and Sokon. Originally known as the Dongfeng Fengguang 580, the model was rebranded in different markets, such as Glory for overseas regions and Fengon for later model years as it transitioned into a more independent brand under Dongfeng Fengguang. The first generation of the Fengguang 580 made its debut at the 2016 Beijing Auto Show in China and was subsequently introduced to the Chinese market in June of the same year. The SUV was priced between 80,900 yuan and 123,000 yuan at launch, offering a competitive price point for consumers. Initially, it was equipped with a 1.5-litre SFG turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with a 1.8-litre SFG naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine added later. It came with a choice of transmissions, including a 6-speed manual and a CVT transmission. In Indonesia, the Fengguang 580 is marketed as the DFSK Glory 580 from 2018 onwards, expanding its reach to international markets.
