The Peugeot 2008 is a subcompact crossover SUV introduced by French automaker Peugeot, debuting at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the first generation model, aimed at the B-segment market and positioned below the Peugeot 3008. Notably, it replaced the Peugeot 207 SW in the lineup, as there was no SW version available for the Peugeot 208. The first-generation Peugeot 2008, known by the code name "A94," was developed on the PF1 platform and shared electronic components with the Peugeot 208. A revised version was showcased at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016, coinciding with the start of mass production. This model represents the inaugural outcome of the partnership between Peugeot and IKCO named IKAP. Key specifications of the first-generation 2008 include a 1.6-liter inline-four Turbo engine capable of generating 165 PS (121 kW; 163 hp) and 243 N⋅m (179 lb⋅ft) of torque at 4,000 rpm.
