The DS 5 is a compact executive hatchback introduced by the French automaker Citroën in November 2011 in Europe. Part of the premium sub-brand DS, it was originally launched as the Citroën DS5 before being rebranded simply as the DS 5 in 2015 under Citroën's DS line. Notably, the DS5 was first showcased at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, marking a significant milestone as the first Citroën model to be manufactured at Peugeot's European plant in Sochaux. Combining elements of hatchback and estate design, the DS5 sports a distinctive aesthetic resembling a shooting-brake. With dimensions measuring 4,530 mm (178.3 in) in
