Eagle Cars Limited, a former English company headquartered in Lancing, West Sussex, was initially established by Allen Breeze and later underwent multiple changes in ownership. From 1981 to 1998, the company produced a series of gull-winged vehicles known as the Eagle SS, following their earlier production of a Jeep-style model called the RV. The Eagle SS was inspired by the American kit car, Cimbria, which itself was based on the earlier Sterling and British Nova models. Tim Dutton of Dutton Cars played a role in introducing the Cimbria to the UK market. In 1988, Eagle Cars relocated to Storrington after operating from Lancing.
