Hand-ported heads and 100hp per litre from a naturally aspirated 1.8.
The VTEC 1.8-litre four of the Integra Type R. Its cylinder head was hand-ported on the production line, and the Type R version made close to 100hp per litre without forced induction, a figure almost unheard of at the time.
