A factory iron block that handles 700hp on stock internals, which is why Australia never let it go.
The turbocharged Barra, launched in the BA XR6 Turbo. The cast-iron block and forged crank take far more boost than Ford ever asked of them, and 500kW on standard internals is routine. It is Australia's answer to the 2JZ, and prices reflect it.
