The turbocharged Type R engine that took the Nürburgring front-drive record.
Honda's turbocharged 2.0-litre VTEC four, fitted to the Civic Type R from the FK2 onward. It powered the front-wheel-drive Nürburgring lap record cars and marked Honda's move from high-revving naturally aspirated engines to forced induction.
