Felber Autoroller

Felber Autoroller, a name that resonates with a unique chapter in automotive history, represents a blend of innovation and rarity in the realm of car manufacturing. Originating in Austria, the brand was the brainchild of Otto Felber, who embarked on his automotive journey in the 1920s. The original Felber Autoroller set a precedent with its motorcycle-based design, carving out a niche for affordable and practical transportation solutions. The car, distinguished by its three-wheeled configuration, aimed to provide a simple and economical alternative for the masses during the interwar period, a time when the automotive industry was predominantly focused on luxury and expansion. This innovation wasn't just a vehicle but a statement of accessibility and efficiency. Fast forward to today, and Felber Autoroller's legacy is more of a historical curiosity than a contemporary heavyweight. The brand doesn’t enjoy a substantial presence in the modern automotive market, but it continues to be celebrated by enthusiasts and historians for its pioneering approach and the distinct niche it carved out during its heyday. The Felber Autoroller remains a symbol of early automotive ingenuity, a testament to a time when the road less traveled was taken by three wheels instead of four.
