Ferrari 250 Europa

1953 – 1954

Ferrari›250 Europa

The Ferrari 250 Europa is a grand touring coupe produced by Ferrari from 1953 to 1954, representing one of the earliest models to carry the 250 designation that would go on to define the marque through the following decade. It was built in very limited numbers, with bodywork produced by Pininfarina, and was designed as a refined long-distance touring car for wealthy clientele. The 250 Europa used a larger displacement version of the Ferrari V12 engine compared to the later 250 Europa GT that succeeded it, and the two are sometimes confused despite being distinct models with different mechanical specifications. The car is recognized among collectors as a transitional model in Ferrari's lineage, bridging the earlier 212 series cars toward the more developed 250 GT family that followed.
