The Ferrari 348 Spider is an open-top two-seat sports car produced by Ferrari from 1993 to 1995, serving as the convertible variant of the 348 series alongside the targa-roofed 348 ts and the fixed-roof 348 tb. It was powered by a mid-mounted 3.4-liter V8 engine producing around 300 horsepower, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, and featured a fully retractable soft top rather than the removable roof panel of the ts. The 348 Spider is particularly noted for being one of the final expressions of the 348 platform before Ferrari replaced the line with the F355, and its relatively low production numbers have made it a sought-after collectors piece. A Series Speciale edition was offered toward the end of the run, featuring revised suspension tuning and a more focused driving character.
