Ferrari SP12 EC

2012

The Ferrari SP12 EC is a one-off special series commission built in 2012 as part of Ferrari's exclusive SP (Special Projects) program, which produces bespoke vehicles for select clientele. The car was created for Eric Clapton, a long-standing Ferrari customer, and takes its name from his initials. It is based on the Ferrari 458 Italia platform, featuring a heavily reworked body styled with visual references to classic Ferrari road and racing cars from the 1960s, including cues drawn from the 512 BB. No variants exist, as the SP12 EC was produced as a single example by definition of the Special Projects program.
