De Joux, a distinguished name in the automotive industry, holds a rich tapestry of innovation and craftsmanship that traces back to its inception. Founded by Gerry De Joux, this niche car brand first made headlines with the De Joux Mini GT, a testament to bespoke design and engineering excellence. The Mini GT, originally crafted in the late 1960s in New Zealand, emerged as a visionary project that redefined compact sports cars, featuring a fiberglass body and a robust Mini Cooper S engine, which made it both lightweight and high-performing. Throughout the decades, De Joux's commitment to unique and limited production models has positioned it as a connoisseur's choice rather than a mainstream juggernaut. Today, while De Joux may not boast the vast output of larger manufacturers, its dedication to quality and exclusivity remains its cornerstone. The brand continues to resonate within the car collector community, celebrated for its historical significance and the enduring appeal of its rare vehicles. De Joux's legacy is a blend of artistic automotive expressions and meticulous engineering, securing its place in the annals of car history as a symbol of prestige and innovation.
