Ford Capri MK II

1974 – 1977 · USA

The Ford Capri, a fastback coupé designed by Philip T. Clark, was modeled after the Ford Mustang and utilized components from the Mk2 Ford Cortina. Serving as the European equivalent to the Mustang, the Capri quickly gained popularity. Throughout its production, the Capri showcased a range of engines, including the top-tier Essex and Cologne V6, as well as the Kent straight-four and Taunus V4 for lower-spec models. The car achieved significant success, selling close to 1.9 million units.
