The Trumpchi M8 is a versatile minivan produced by GAC Group under the Trumpchi brand in China and globally under the GAC Motor brand. Originally introduced in 2017 as the GM8, the vehicle underwent a rebranding in 2020 to M8 in China and GN8 in international markets. The recent launch of the second-generation M8 in 2022 brought about a complete redesign of the model. In China, the Trumpchi M8, including its predecessor the GM8, falls into the full-size seven-seat MPV category, directly competing with vehicles like the Buick GL8. Notably, its debut at the 2017 Auto Guangzhou marked Trumpchi's inaugural venture into the MPV segment.
