The Geely Emgrand, formerly known as the Emgrand EC7, is a car manufactured by Chinese automaker Geely Auto. Originally launched under the Emgrand brand, the EC7 served as the debut model for Geely's medium-to-high-end luxury brand called Emgrand, which was introduced in July 2009. The EC7 initially came equipped with various Mitsubishi-sourced engines, including a 1.5-liter 4G15 inline-four engine and a 1.8-liter 4G18 inline-four engine. In 2014, following the discontinuation of the Emgrand brand, the EC7 underwent a name change to become the Geely Emgrand. A minor update in 2013 introduced slightly smoked headlights to
