Grecav

Grecav, an emblematic name in the Italian automotive and agricultural machinery sectors, was founded in 1964 in Gonzaga, Mantua, through the merger of Fratelli Grespan and Cavalletti. The brand was built on a legacy that started with the Grespan family in 1956 and was enriched by the historical foundations of Cavalletti, established back in 1922. Under the leadership of Bruno Grespan, Grecav carved out a niche in producing light motor vehicles and farm machinery, integrating local heritage with modern manufacturing practices. Over the years, Grecav distinguished itself in the quadricycle segment with models like the Grecav Sonique and Esempi, capturing attention with their practicality and efficiency in urban settings. The company's dual expertise also extends to the agricultural sector, producing essential machinery for farming—a testament to its versatile production capabilities. However, Grecav ceased operations in 2013, marking the end of an era for this unique Italian manufacturer. Despite this, the legacy of Grecav's innovation in light automotive and agricultural machinery continues to resonate within the industry, showcasing the blend of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology that defined its half-century of manufacturing.
