The Opel Vectra, a mid-size car manufactured by German automaker Opel from 1988 to 2010, came in various body styles including saloon, hatchback, and estate. It was known as the Vauxhall Cavalier in the UK from 1988 to 1995 before being rebranded as the Vauxhall Vectra until 2008. In Australia, it was sold as the Holden Vectra, and in Latin America as the Chevrolet Vectra. The Vectra was designed to replace the Opel Ascona and was succeeded by the Opel Insignia in 2008 after almost 21 years on the market across three generations. The first generation Vectra, referred to as the Vect
