The second generation Honda Fit, a subcompact car or supermini, was in production by Honda from 2007 to 2014. It was introduced at the 40th Tokyo Motor Show on October 17, 2007. This generation of the Fit featured a longer wheelbase and increased width and length compared to its predecessor. Although the overall height remained the same, the interior height saw a slight increase of 7.6 mm (0.3 in). The vehicle maintained its multi-mode seating and cargo configurations, with US models no longer offering the Refresh/Relax Mode until the subsequent generation. Redesigned headrests were incorporated to facilitate easier folding of the rear seats.
