The Honda Fit Shuttle, a subcompact station wagon, was introduced as a successor to the first-generation Fit's station wagon variant, the Airwave, primarily catering to Japan's domestic market. Originally scheduled for a March 2011 launch, the release was delayed due to the devastating earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan on March 11, 2011. In response to power shortages post-disaster, production of the Fit Shuttle was relocated from Honda's Sayama plant in Saitama Prefecture to the Suzuka plant in Mie Prefecture. Despite the challenges posed by the natural disaster, production finally commenced in early May 2011. Derived from the Fit model, the Fit Shuttle offers additional cargo space and versatility with its station wagon design,
