Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) was founded in 1987 as the performance vehicle division for Holden, with headquarters located in Clayton, Victoria. This privately owned company specialized in modifying various Holden models, including the standard wheelbase Commodore, long wheelbase Caprice and Statesman, and the commercial Ute, for both domestic and international markets. HSV was also known for modifying other General Motors vehicles in limited quantities.
