The HSV W427 is the most extreme road car ever built by HSV, powered by a 7.0-litre dry-sump LS7 V8 — the same engine found in the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Limited to just 144 examples and exclusively available with a six-speed manual, the W427 produced 375kW and 556Nm, making it the most powerful Australian production car at the time of its 2008 release.
