Hycan

Hycan is a Chinese electric vehicle brand established in 2018 as a joint venture between GAC Group and NIO, combining GAC's manufacturing scale with NIO's electric vehicle expertise. The brand targets the premium end of the domestic EV market, producing battery-electric passenger cars and SUVs sold primarily in China. Its lineup includes the 007 coupe-SUV, the A06 sedan, the V09 large MPV, and the Z03 compact SUV, covering a range of body styles within the electric segment. NIO later divested its stake in the venture, leaving GAC as the primary backer, and the brand has operated under varying degrees of commercial pressure in an increasingly competitive Chinese EV market.
