The Hyundai Equus, a luxurious full-size sedan manufactured by Hyundai Motor Company, was produced from 1999 to 2016 across two generations. The name "Equus" is derived from the Latin word for "horse," symbolizing elegance and power. The second-generation Equus, launched in 2009, featured a sophisticated rear-wheel-drive platform, emphasizing performance and comfort. In the Middle East, it was marketed under the name Hyundai Centennial.
