Isuzu Aska

The Isuzu Aska was a series of mid-size sedans manufactured by Isuzu Motors Ltd. in Japan from 1983 to 2002. Initially based on GM's J-car platform, the Aska later transitioned to using rebranded versions of the Subaru Legacy and Honda Accord when Isuzu ceased producing passenger cars. This change occurred throughout the 1990s, with the Aska maintaining its position as a mid-size offering in Isuzu's lineup. Replacing the Isuzu Florian, the Aska received its name from the Japanese word "Asuka," originating from the historical Asuka Village in the Nara Prefecture. Despite its popularity in the mid-size sedan segment, the Aska was ultimately discontinued in 2002
