Isuzu Trooper 2nd Gen

1991 – 2003

The Isuzu Trooper, also known as the Isuzu Bighorn in Japan, was a popular full-size SUV produced by Isuzu from 1981 to 2002. It was exported under various names like Acura SLX, Chevrolet Trooper, Holden Jackaroo, and more. The model went through two generations: the first from 1981 to 1991, and the second (UBS) from 1991 to 2002, with a significant update in 1998. Initially, the Trooper was rather basic with limited power, featuring a four-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, and part-time four-wheel drive. As the first generation progressed, it added features such as air-conditioning, power windows, and a more robust V6 engine, enhancing its appeal to a wider audience looking for both on- and off-road capabilities.
