The Izh 2126, affectionately known as "Oda," was a compact hatchback introduced by the Soviet automaker IZh and later produced under various Russian entities from 1990 to 2005. It served as a practical successor to the Izh 2125 Kombi and represented the final Izhevsk-designed vehicle. In addition to the hatchback model, a pick-up truck/panel van version called the Izh 2717 was also manufactured between 1991 and 2005. The development of the Oda began with prototypes dating back to 1977, although production was subsequently delayed. The early iterations of the Oda, created in the late 1980s, drew inspiration from the base of
