Kaipan

Kaipan, a boutique Czech car manufacturer, has carved a distinct niche in the automotive world with its roadsters that blend nostalgic allure with modern engineering. Established in 1991 in Smržovka, Czech Republic, Kaipan began its journey by producing the Kaipan 47 in 1997, a car inspired by the classic Lotus Seven. This model featured a Ford engine and set the foundation for the brand's reputation in creating performance-focused vehicles with a retro aesthetic. As the company evolved, it introduced the Kaipan 57 in 2002, enhancing its offerings with a Volkswagen turbo engine. A significant milestone was reached in 2006 with the debut of Kaipan 14, the first model featuring original bodywork by Kaipan, equipped with a Škoda engine. The lineup expanded with the introduction of Kaipan 15 in 2008 and the electric Kaipan 16 in 2011, highlighting the brand's commitment to innovation and sustainability. Today, Kaipan continues to produce a limited number of vehicles annually, emphasizing craftsmanship and a unique driving experience. Each car is a testament to the brand’s dedication to maintaining a balance between classic design and contemporary performance, making Kaipan a cherished name among car enthusiasts who appreciate the blend of tradition and modernity in roadster design.
