Koenigsegg CC850

2022 – present

The Koenigsegg CC850 is a limited-production Swedish hypercar introduced in 2022 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Christian von Koenigsegg's birth and the 20th anniversary of the original CC8S. It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 producing 1,385 horsepower on standard fuel and up to 1,500 horsepower on E85, figures shared with the Jesko but tuned to a distinct character. The CC850's defining engineering achievement is its Engage Shift System, a nine-speed gearbox that can function as either a traditional automatic or simulate a six-speed manual with a physical clutch pedal and gear lever, making it unique among modern hypercars. Production is limited to 50 units, mirroring the car's anniversary significance, and no distinct factory variants have been announced as of the time of writing.
