Lancia A 112

1982 – 1986 · Italy

The Lancia Aurelia, produced by Italian manufacturer Lancia from 1950 to 1958, is a significant car noted for introducing one of the first series-production V6 engines. This pioneering vehicle offered various body styles, including a 4-door saloon, 2-door GT coupé (B20 model), 2-door spider/convertible (B24 model), and a chassis that allowed for custom bodywork by external coachbuilders. The naming of the car reflected the post-war Lancia tradition, as it was named after the Via Aurelia, an ancient Roman road that led from Rome to Pisa. This nomenclature paid homage to historical Italian heritage and showcased Lancia's commitment to incorporating cultural elements into their designs
