LDV Group Limited, originally established as Leyland DAF Vans, has a storied history in the automotive world. Founded through the merger of Leyland Trucks and DAF Trucks in 1993, LDV quickly became synonymous with robust commercial vehicles, primarily serving the UK market. The brand's lineage traces back to the iconic British Leyland, a name steeped in automotive lore. LDV's initial offerings were primarily utilitarian vans designed for reliability and functionality. Among their earliest successes was the LDV Convoy, a workhorse favored by businesses for its durability and adaptability.
