The Lincoln MKS is a full-size luxury sedan designed and manufactured by Ford under its Lincoln subdivision for model years 2008-2016. First introduced as a concept vehicle in 2006, the MKS made its official debut at the LA Auto Show in November 2007. Production of the MKS commenced at Ford's Chicago Assembly plant in May 2008, with sales hitting the market a month later. Built on the Ford D3 platform, which it shared with the fifth- and sixth-generation Ford Taurus, the MKS was available in front-wheel drive with optional all-wheel drive.
