Marussia Motors emerged from Russia in 2007, founded by former racing driver Nikolai Fomenko and his partners, marking Russia's first venture into the production of supercars. The brand quickly caught the eye of automotive enthusiasts with the launch of the Marussia B1, its inaugural vehicle. The B1 was not only a symbol of innovation but also of Russia's burgeoning prowess in high-performance automotive engineering. The B1, characterized by its lightweight body and distinctive, aerodynamic design, was followed by the B2, which featured more aggressive styling and enhanced performance metrics. Marussia's ambitions didn’t stop at manufacturing. The company also ventured into Formula 1, acquiring a significant stake in the Virgin Racing team, which was later rebranded as Marussia F1.
