The Mazda MX-6 is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive coupé produced by Mazda from 1987 to 1997 in two generations. Sharing mechanical components with the Ford Probe, Capella/626, and Ford Telstar, these cars utilized the GD platform from 1988 to 1992 and the GE platform from 1993 to 1997. Initially intended as a replacement for the 626 Coupé, the MX-6 retained the same chassis design.
