Mazda MX6

1992 – 1995

The Mazda MX-6 is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive coupé produced by Mazda from 1987 to 1997 in two generations. Sharing mechanical components with the Ford Probe, Capella/626, and Ford Telstar, these cars utilized the GD platform from 1988 to 1992 and the GE platform from 1993 to 1997. Initially intended as a replacement for the 626 Coupé, the MX-6 retained the same chassis design. Manufactured alongside the Ford Probe and 626 at AutoAlliance in Michigan for the North American market, Mazda Japan also produced these models for Asian and European consumers. The first-generation MX-6 debuted in 1987 and stayed on the market until 199
