The Mercedes-Benz W120 and W121 are a pair of inline-four cylinder sedans produced by Daimler-Benz. The W120 was launched in 1953 under the name Mercedes-Benz 180, featuring a 1.8-liter M136 engine. It remained in production until 1962, offering a diesel version, the Mercedes-Benz 180 D, from 1954 onwards. On the other hand, the W121, known as the Mercedes-Benz 190, made its debut in 1956 with a more powerful 1.9-liter M121 engine. In 1958, the W121 lineup expanded to include the diesel variant Mercedes-Benz 190 D equipped with an OM621 engine, which was available until 1961
