The Messerschmitt KR200, also known as the Kabinenroller (Cabin Scooter), is a unique three-wheeled bubble car conceived by aircraft engineer Fritz Fend. Produced from 1955 to 1964 in the factory of the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt, this quirky vehicle was a result of Messerschmitt shifting its focus from aircraft to other products due to temporary restrictions. Fritz Fend first pitched his idea of manufacturing small motor vehicles to Messerschmitt in 1952, drawing inspiration from his Fend Flitzer invalid carriage.
