Mitsubishi 3000 GT Z15A

1990 – 2000

The Mitsubishi 3000GT is a front-engine grand touring/sports car produced by Mitsubishi from 1990 to 2000 across three generations. While marketed globally as the 3000GT, in Japan, it was known as the GTO. In North America, it was available as the Mitsubishi 3000GT and the Dodge Stealth, which shared the same design and mechanics. The car was sold in a three-door hatchback coupé body style with a 2+2 seating configuration. Collaborating with Chrysler, Mitsubishi utilized the Sigma/Diamante platform for the 3000GT. It featured a transversely mounted 3-liter, 24-valve V6 engine in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The GTO variants offered engines with natural aspiration or twin-turbochargers. The model's advanced features included active aerodynamics for adjusting spoilers, four-wheel-steering for enhanced maneuverability, full-time all-wheel drive for improved traction, and adaptive suspension for a comfortable ride.
