Mitsubishi Colt

1978 – 2024 · Japan

The Mitsubishi Colt is a versatile nameplate that has been featured on various car models produced by Mitsubishi Motors since its inception in 1962. Initially starting with kei and subcompact cars in the 1960s, the Colt nameplate was later adopted for the export version of the subcompact Mirage from 1978 to 2002. In a strategic move, Chrysler, Mitsubishi's partner at the time, also utilized the Colt name for rebadging Mitsubishi vehicles as the Dodge and Plymouth Colt captive imports in the North American market spanning from 1970 to 1994. The most recent iteration of the Mitsubishi Colt was a subcompact car model available from 2002 to 2013 and sold under the Colt name internationally. This version
