The Mitsubishi Debonair is a prestigious four-door executive sedan that Mitsubishi Motors introduced in 1964 as their premium passenger vehicle for the Japanese market. The name "Debonair" reflects the car's characteristics of being gentle, courteous, suave, and nonchalant. Over its 35-year production span until its discontinuation in 1999, the Debonair went through three distinct generations. Originally showcased at the 10th All Japan Motor Show in October 1963, the Debonair was designed to cater to senior executives within the Mitsubishi Group and its associated companies. As such, it served as a symbol of status and luxury, specifically crafted as a company car for high-level Mitsubishi executives. Throughout its production run,
