MK Sportscars

MK Sportscars, established in 1996 by Martin Keenan in Essex, UK, quickly rose to prominence within the kit car market. Renowned for producing affordable yet high-performance vehicles, MK Sportscars began its journey with the iconic MK Indy, a car that embodied the thrill of open-cockpit racing while being accessible to enthusiasts who preferred to build their own vehicles. The Indy drew inspiration from the legendary Lotus Seven, focusing on a lightweight construction and pure driving experience, which proved to be a winning formula in attracting a dedicated following. Over the years, the company has maintained its reputation for quality and performance, evolving with advancements in automotive technology while staying true to its roots in kit car culture. Today, MK Sportscars continues to thrive, offering a range of vehicles that cater to both amateur racers and serious car builders. Their current lineup, still featuring the evolved MK Indy alongside newer models, showcases improvements in design, engineering, and sustainability, adapting to modern demands without compromising the brand’s core values of affordability and performance. This adaptability and enduring appeal underline MK Sportscars' sustained success in the niche market of kit cars.
