The Nissan Pulsar EXA and Nissan EXA were compact cars manufactured by Nissan Motor Company during the 1980s. The first generation, known as the Pulsar EXA, was produced from 1983 to 1986 and was designated as the N12 series. It was marketed in Japan at Nissan Cherry Store locations. The Pulsar EXA was aimed at a younger demographic and followed a successful strategy of offering an affordable two-door coupe based on the popular Nissan Sunny platform.
