The Nissan Qashqai is a compact crossover SUV introduced by Japanese car manufacturer Nissan in 2006. Initially, the first generation was marketed as the Nissan Dualis in Japan and Australia, while it was known as the Qashqai in other regions. The second generation, released in late 2013 as a 2014 model, was only named Qashqai globally, except in the US where it was rebranded as the Nissan Rogue Sport. The latest iteration, the third generation launched in 2021, offers hybrid powertrain options. The name "Qashqai" pays homage to the Qashqai people residing in mountainous areas of Central and Southwestern Iran. This crossover SUV falls into the C
